Exactly the same conclusions for me here!! 
I worked with prio 50... 

System info (short summary):  
  distro    : FC2
  kernel    : 2.6.7-1.494.2.2smp
  cpu       : 2xPentium III (Coppermine)
  glibc used: 2.3.3 with NPTL 0.61
  gcc       : 3.3.3 

Shall do more testing tomorrow on the SMP Alpha systems I have 
access to. 

BTW. Perhaps it would be interesting to dump the thread info, even 
if the test passed (?)
